Do you have a special project to send me? I’d love to hear about it!

Impeccable translations for your global success

If you have landed on this page, you’re probably looking for a translation service. Well, you’ve come to the right place! With over ten years of experience in the translation industry, first as a Project Manager and since 2017 as a freelance translator, I can help you with all your company’s translation and internationalization needs.

Why use a native speaker?

The first rule of thumb when it comes to translations is to always use a translator who is a native speaker of the target language. That’s why I only translate from the languages I know (English, German and Japanese) into Italian.

This is the only way you can be certain that your translated text sounds natural to a native speaker (and your potential customer). Moreover, as the saying goes, the best translation does not seem like a translation – it seems like it was written directly in the language!

Naturally, you might need a translation from Italian into English or another language combination I don’t offer directly. I can still help you. With my invaluable network of reliable professionals, I can manage your translation projects in different language combinations. For more details, go to Other services.

My workflow

To ensure every translation project is successful I follow a series of precise key steps. To find out more about my work method and its benefits for your documents in terms of quality and process control, check out my workflow here.

I specialize in:

Depending on the sector in which it operates, every company uses specific terms and lexicon in both its documents and day-to-day activities, and this carries over to translations. Using the specific language of a given sector is vital to conveying the precise meaning of the source text and to ensuring that the translation is appropriate for its intended use.

This is why all professional translators specialize not only in one or more language combinations, but also in a few specific sectors based on their personal strengths, educational background and experience.

Over the years, I have specialized in four key areas: medicine and pharmaceuticals, engineering, information technology (including the localization of websites and apps) and marketing and communications (including transcreation, content writing and copywriting). Find out more about my areas of specialization and the types of documents I most frequently translate below.

Do you need a legal or financial translation or a translation in another field outside my areas of expertise? I can still be of use. As you’ll see here, I work every day with professionals specialized in other fields. I have them review hybrid texts that I have translated (such as website data protection policies and technical specifications for tenders, which often contain legal language).

How do I meet the many different demands of life science companies? Life science translations require in-depth knowledge of medical terms and a grasp of the biological, chemical and physical processes involved.

Translations for electromedical devices require not only this knowledge but also engineering expertise for utmost accuracy and conformity.

I translate life science texts for leading pharmaceutical companies, life science publishing houses, manufacturers of medical devices, pharmaceutical market research firms and dental companies. Do you need a life science translation? Find out about my areas of specialization in detail and how I can help you!

To be fully effective, translations for marketing, web marketing and communications require the hand of a professional specialized in communications. Creative translations must persuade and engage the target reader. And in certain cases they need to be adapted for the sociocultural context.

Slogans, brochures, press releases, company presentations… these are all contexts in which the translation must grab the reader’s attention as much as in the original. If the source text contains plays on words, figures of speech or idiomatic expressions, I will find an Italian equivalent.

Any company might need a creative translation but in certain sectors, communications and creativity are vital. This is true for architectural and design firms, fashion houses and companies in the food & wine and tourism industries. Do you have a commercial text that you’d like to translate without losing its incisiveness? Find out how I can help.
